Privacy

Draft, last updated 8 October 2026. To be reviewed before App Store submission.

Sutra is a personal app. What you tell it is yours. This page says what the app uses and why.

What stays on your iPhone

Sutra’s understanding of your notes, tasks, people and promises is built on your device. Your sorted memory is stored on your iPhone and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud.

What you can allow

Each is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings at any time.

Sign in with Apple

Sutra uses Sign in with Apple. We receive the first name you share so the app can greet you, and a private identifier so limits apply per person.

Voice conversations

When you talk to your guide, audio is processed by our voice provider through a secure gateway, so no service keys live in the app. Voice conversations are not used to advertise to you.

What we do not do

Delete your data

Delete the app to remove on-device data. To remove anything held on our side, write to hello@getsutra.app and we will erase it.
